We are looking for an experienced Active Directory Administrator for a Global Company in Port Elizabeth.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Engineering, or related field
3-5 years of experience in Active Directory and/or Microsoft 365 administration required
Ability to communicate in Advanced English language
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
IT certification in Active Directory/Azure/M365 is strongly preferred
In depth support knowledge of Active Directory, On-Premises Exchange/M365
In depth support knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory Connect / Azure
Experience with enterprise networking concepts and IP Subnetting troubleshooting
Experience with Microsoft Office 365 applications and services
Experience working with Azure AD implementation of Single Sign On (SSO)
RESPONSIBILITES & DUTIES:
Managing cross-forest domains and domain controllers, user identity management and permissions across platforms
Developing strategies for disaster recovery, offering technical support to users, and developing
Group Policies to ensure security compliances and business needs
Troubleshoot Active Directory authentication, Azure AD Connect and LDAP configuration issues to support On-Premises and Cloud applications
Work with other staff to resolve escalated and complex incidents
Work cross functional with other teams to drive business initiatives
Provide complete administration of the Microsoft 365 environment and its capabilities
Query Exchange environment using Microsoft 365 cmdlets and online tool
Implement and support security policies, such as data retention, DLP and litigation hold
Support Single Sign-On using Azure Active Directory connect with Multi-Factor Authentication and Conditional Access
Manage user's mobile devices through our Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions (MS Intune)
Update, contribute, and maintain local SharePoint team sites as procedures/documentation change
Experience with supporting Email gateway, anti-spam filtering, logging, email tracking and transport rules
Knowledge of managing Microsoft Enterprise Licensing and subscription is a plus
Troubleshooting and resolving Azure services-related issues
Configuring Azure services to meet the needs of the business
Designing and managing swap space in the cloud environment
Administer internal and public-facing dns systems
Maintain monthly Systems Operating Systems (OS) and application patch updates etc..
